Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

Provide a holistic approach to care, offering activities and intentional programming in both home and community settings to enhance quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Encourage and facilitate participation in community and recreational activities.
Administer medications and address health concerns, following proper procedures.
Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, toileting, catheter care, grooming, feeding, and dressing.
Complete required documentation accurately and communicate effectively with the team.
Perform household tasks, light housekeeping, and general household maintenance

Completion of a recognized Healthcare Aide or Personal Support Worker program, or active enrollment with a commitment to complete the certification within 18 months of hire.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Compassionate, client-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
Active status (or proof of enrollment) on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. (If enrolled, a confirmation letter from the Directory is required.)
Nursing students in an approved Alberta program who have completed at least 100 hours of practical experience may also be considered (proof of qualification is required).
As a Healthcare Aide at Uplift Care Agency, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care and support. Your role includes assisting individuals with activities of daily living, following facility policies and care plans, and helping to maintain a safe, positive environment for clients, staff, and visitors.


Administer medications, treatments, and interventions under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Monitor clients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Current, active LPN licensure in the relevant province/territory.
Diploma in Practical Nursing.
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
